Mane Biotech raises € 1.7 million to further develop its regenerative medicine technology to combat hair loss. Brightlands Venture Partners led the investment round joined by several Business Angels.
Mane Biotech is a biomedical company inspired by extensive research in regenerative medicine, software and engineering. It is developing an innovative solution that restores the body’s ability to regrow hair in people with common hair loss (Androgenetic Alopecia).
Common hair loss is a global problem that affects 8 out of 10 men and 5 out of 10 women at some point in their lives. In men, this problem can start as early as puberty, causing serious psychological problems including depression. Current solutions in the market are insufficient and can cause significant side effects. Mane Biotech is working on a holistic solution against common hair loss that will help millions of people.

Mane Biotech haalt € 1.7 miljoen op om haar regeneratieve biomedische technologie tegen kaalheid verder te ontwikkelen. Brightlands Venture Partners leidde de investeringsronde waarin ook verschillende Business Angels toetraden.
Mane Biotech is een biomedische onderneming die haar inspiratie haalt uit wetenschappelijk onderzoek op het gebied van regeneratieve geneeskunde, software en techniek. Het ontwikkelt een innovatieve oplossing die het vermogen van het lichaam om haar terug te laten groeien herstelt bij mensen die last hebben van Androgenetic Alopecia (de meest voorkomende vorm van kaalheid).
Acht op de tien mannen en vijf op de tien vrouwen krijgen op enig moment in hun leven te maken met Androgenetic Alopecia. Bij mannen kan dit probleem al in de puberteit beginnen en ernstige psychische problemen veroorzaken, waaronder depressie. De huidige oplossingen in de markt zijn onvoldoende effectief en kunnen aanzienlijke bijwerkingen veroorzaken. Mane Biotech werkt aan een holistische oplossing tegen Androgenetic Alopecia die miljoenen mensen zal kunnen helpen.
