Roel van Wegberg

Roel joined Brightlands Venture Partners in 2024 as CFO and supports the Fund Managers of the existing BVP Funds focusing on a.o. Investor Relations and Fund Operations / Reporting. Furthermore, Roel works on the development of new BVP Funds.

He has well over twelve years of experience in Portfolio / Fund Management and Fund (Re-)Structuring. Prior to joining BVP, Roel worked in the pan-European Investment Departments of ING Real Estate and CBRE IM and spent the past years in Madrid to establish and launch a pan-European Fund for Generali Investments.

Roel holds an MSc in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
