Abigail Forson

Abigail joined BVP in 2024 as an Investment Analyst Trainee in the Health Team.

Prior to BVP, Abigail was awarded her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Groningen, funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation program (Alert-Cofund). Her research focused on utilizing polymer coatings to prevent bacterial infections of biomaterial implants and modulate the foreign body response to reduce fibrotic encapsulation. After her PhD, Abigail successfully completed the Women2Invest venture capital training.

Abigail holds an MSc and BSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from KU Leuven.
